HOW DO YOU TELL IF AN ELEVATED CORTISOL IS ACTIVE OR INACTIVE?

You will now see some very high cortisol levels determined on blood tests. You are told that these levels indicate that a chemical needs to be given to terminate a portion of the middle adrenal cortex to reduce this cortisol level into a normal range. How do you know that this is correct and this is a high level active cortisol that needs to be reduced? You do not know this and most of your health care professionals do not know this either.

Before you allow this chemical to be used on your pet you need to make sure this is an actual working cortisol and when the test comes back high that this really is Cushing syndrome
