Soybean problems have been well proven in people and even though there have been limited studies it obviously affects animals as well. Why take a chance. Until more is known about soy, I think it is best to be guided by whatever has been proven so far. If you and your pet are better able to sustain yourselves by eating soy, seemingly without all the inherent problems then do so, however, please be warned that the liabilities seem to far out weigh the assets.

In this age of run away obesity, diabetes at epidemic proportions and heart disease leading the pack of the Top 15 Causes of Death in the US, weight loss is obviously a frequent topic at the water cooler. Uncontrolled weight gain in our pets and, sad to say, ourselves is thought to occur because there’s just too much eating and not enough exercising. Why can’t we lose the weight? We have Jenny Craig and other Weight Loss programs yammering from our TV’s, pet food companies pushing their reduced calorie kibble and raw diets even Mickey D‘s is slipping apples into their Kid’s Meals. For some of us critters, nothing seems to work.
