THINGS I HATE DO, BUT MUST DO.

by Dr. Al on January 4, 2010

The poor little guy could use his front legs and was totally paralyzed in the rear. The motorist called the sheriff and said sadly, I hit this young coyote and I saw him crawl towards the lake. Is there any way that you can find him and end his suffering? The sheriff obviously obliged. Apparently they found the coyote but the coyote eluded them just below and close to my home. At the time I was fishing off my dock, and the sheriff and his associate asked me to help them.

WHY DID I CREATE DOG AND CAT FOOD?

by Terry on November 9, 2009

When I first graduated from the veterinary school at the University of California at Davis, I became aware that many of the animals I was seeing appeared to have some sort of allergies, ranging from skin problems to bowel problems etc.

At the same time, I wondered why oral or injectable cortisones seemed to help. When I started testing my patients, I found they all had a cortisol deficiency. I Now realize that my profession was doing a replacement for the cortisol and they never realized this.

What is Canine Flu?

by Terry on October 30, 2009

Part 2

Flu viruses and flu vaccines meant to stop the advancement of the flu are really questionable in my own opinion.

These viruses are very fragile and subject to major environmental changes that cannot be protected with the old vaccine.

First of all, what you need to determine is, “is this virus terminal or not. How sick do you need to become to risk a reaction from the vaccine ahead of time?

Apparently, this is considered a new disease that has been discovered recently. The actual truth is that this canine / feline flu has been present for many years and is only now being recognized. These flu viruses have been present for many years. As a veterinarian being in practice for over 40 years, I have seen flu like signs in dogs and cats for over 40 years..
